Trello Integration

The Trello integration allows you to automate card creation within your Trello boards.

How to get credentials

Trello uses an API Key and an API Token.

1. Go to the Trello Power-Ups Admin page.
2. Create a new integration to generate your API Key.
3. Click the link on that page to generate an API Token manually.
4. In Nodes2Cloud, create a new Trello credential and provide both the Key and the Token.

Available Actions

• Card: Create: Creates a new card on a specific Board and List. Requires the List ID (which you can retrieve via the Trello API or by exporting a Trello board to JSON). You can set the card's name, description, and position.

Common Troubleshooting

• 401 Unauthorized: Ensure you have provided both the API Key AND the API Token. Trello requires both for authentication.
• Invalid List ID: Ensure the List ID you provided exactly matches the internal ID generated by Trello.
