1. Contact Operations
Available Actions
- Contact: Create: Creates a new contact in HubSpot CRM.
Options / Fields
- Email: The email address of the new contact.
- First Name: (Optional) The contact's first name.
- Last Name: (Optional) The contact's last name.
- Properties (JSON): (Optional) Any additional custom properties you want to set. This should be a JSON object mapping internal HubSpot property names to their values (e.g.,
{"website": "https://example.com", "phone": "555-1234"}).
Common Troubleshooting
- 409 Conflict: You are trying to create a contact with an email address that already exists in HubSpot. HubSpot requires unique emails for contacts.
- 400 Bad Request: You provided an invalid property name in the
Properties (JSON)field. Ensure you are using the internal name of the property, not the label shown in the UI. You can find internal names in HubSpot under Settings -> Properties.
