ActiveCampaign Integration

The ActiveCampaign integration provides comprehensive access to your ActiveCampaign CRM and marketing automation platform.

How to get credentials

ActiveCampaign requires an API URL and an API Key.

1. Log in to your ActiveCampaign account.
2. Click on Settings (the gear icon) in the bottom left corner.
3. Select Developer from the left-hand menu.
4. Copy the URL and Key.
5. In Nodes2Cloud, create a new ActiveCampaign credential and paste both the URL and the Key.

Operations Available

ActiveCampaign offers a massive suite of operations divided into several resource categories:

1. Accounts (B2B CRM)

• Account: Create, Get, List, Update, Delete: Manage B2B organizations in your CRM.

2. Contacts

• Contact: Create, Get, List, Update, Delete: Manage individual people.

3. Tags

• Tag: Create, List, Get, Update, Delete: Manage the global tags in your workspace.
• Contact Tag: Add, Remove: Apply or remove a specific tag from a specific contact.

4. Lists

• List: Get All: Retrieve all email lists.
• Contact List: Add, Remove: Subscribe or unsubscribe a contact from a specific list.

5. Automations

• Automation: List: Retrieve all automations in your workspace.
• Automation Contact: Add, Remove: Programmatically enter or exit a contact from an automation.

6. Deals (CRM Pipeline)

• Deal: Create, Get, List, Update, Delete: Manage sales opportunities within your pipelines.

7. Notes

• Note: Create, Get, Update, Delete: Manage global notes.
• Deal Note: Create: Attach a note directly to a specific deal.

Common Troubleshooting

• Contact not entering Automation: Ensure the contact has actually been created first (they must have an ID) and that the automation is set to "Active" in ActiveCampaign.
• 422 Unprocessable Entity: Usually means a required field (like Email for a contact, or Title for a Deal) is missing or invalid. Check the specific error message returned in the output for details.
