ClickUp Integration

The ClickUp integration allows you to automate task creation and tracking within your ClickUp workspaces.

How to get credentials

ClickUp uses a Personal API Token.

1. Log in to ClickUp.
2. Click your avatar in the bottom left and go to Settings → Apps.
3. Under Personal API Token, click Generate and copy the token.
4. In Nodes2Cloud, create a new ClickUp credential and paste the token.

Available Actions

• Task: Create: Creates a new task within a specific List ID.
• Task: Get: Retrieves a task by its Task ID.
• Task: Update: Modifies task details, such as status or due date.
• Task: Delete: Deletes a task.
• Task: Add Comment: Adds a comment to a task.
• Task: Add Tag: Attaches a tag to a task.
• List Tasks: Retrieves all tasks within a specific List ID.

(Note: ClickUp heavily relies on internal IDs. You can usually find the List ID or Task ID in the URL when viewing the resource in your browser).

Common Troubleshooting

• ClickUp IDs: If ClickUp returns a 404 Not Found or Invalid List ID, double-check the ID. Task IDs in ClickUp URLs often have a prefix (like #) or suffix which should not be included in the API request. Only use the alphanumeric string.
